Chiropractic Haven's state-of-the-art facility is designed to create a tranquil and relaxing environment for our patients. We have carefully curated our space to promote comfort and well-being, ensuring that every visit is a positive and rejuvenating experience. Chiropractic Haven is more than just a chiropractic clinic; it's a community-focused wellness center located in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Founded on the belief that everyone deserves to live a life free of pain and full of wellness, we offer a range of services designed to promote health, well-being, and a balanced lifestyle. Our doctor is passionate about empowering our patients through personalized care and education, ensuring they achieve and maintain optimal health.

Get to know your chiropractor:

Dr. Melinnette Rivera Cabrera, affectionately known as Dr. Mel, grew up in Manatí, Puerto Rico. Dr. Mel completed her bachelor’s degree of Science at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. Her doctoral studies were completed at Life University, from where she graduated in 2020 and gained extensive clinical experience at the Life University Outreach Clinic. This clinic was established to provide chiropractic care to low-income people in the Atlanta, GA perimeter areas which allowed Dr. Mel to fulfill her goal of helping people heal while doing so in a space of love and service to the community. Additionally, Dr. Mel was serving the community of Santurce, Puerto Rico until 2023, where she worked with all types of patients, from the little ones who were weeks old to her beloved seniors.

When she is not in the office connecting with her patients, you can find her traveling the world, taking care and talking to her plants, at the gym, on the beach or spending time with her husband and family.

La Dra. Melinnette Rivera Cabrera, conocida cariñosamente como Dra. Mel creció en Manatí, Puerto Rico. Es la primera quiropráctica en su familia. Cursó su Bachillerato en Ciencias en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Río Piedras. Sus estudios de doctorado fueron completados en Life University, de donde se graduó en 2020 y adquirió vasta experiencia clínica en Life University Outreach Clinic. Dicha clínica fue establecida para proveer cuidado quiropráctico a personas de escasos recursos en el área de Marietta, GA y el perímetro de Atlanta, GA, lo que le permitió a la Dra. Mel cumplir con su meta de ayudar las personas a sanar desde un espacio de amor y servicio a la comunidad. Además, Dr. Mel estuvo sirviendo a la comunidad de Santurce, Puerto Rico, donde trabajó con todo tipo de pacientes, recién nacidos hasta los abuelitos.

Cuando no está en la oficina conectando con nuestros pacientes, pueden encontrarla viajando el mundo, cuidando y hablándole a sus plantas, en el gimnasio, en la playa o compartiendo con su esposo y familia.
